About the Festival

In line with the announcement made by the Honourable Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi where he reiterated the importance of activities for NATION BUILDING, The Indian Army is organising the first ever Dil Maange More Festival to empower the Youth of J&K and Ladakh through Outreach, Training & Exposure by way of a Short Film Making Festival as part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav and run up to the Mega VIJAY DIWAS 2022 celebrations.

The Northern Command of Indian Army in association with Innovations India is organising the DIL MAANGE MORE SHORT FILM FESTIVAL 2022 (DMMSFF 2022).

DMMSFF 2022 is dedicated to the independent, talented and discerning film makers from J&K and Ladakh, who crave to showcase their deftness and craft of film making to the world via short films.

Dil Maange More Festival would serve as an effective platform to promote the talented young aspiring film makers of J&K and Ladakh to showcase their creativity to the world.
